Detection of gravitational waves with quantum encryption technology

چکیده
We propose a new technique for detecting gravitational waves using Quantum Entangled STate (QUEST) technology. Gravitational waves reduce the non-locality of correlated quanta controlled by Bell’s inequalities, distorting quantum encryption key statistics away from a pure white noise. Gravitational waves therefore act as shadow eavesdroppers. The resulting colour distortions can, at least in principle, be separated from noise and can differentiate both deterministic and stochastic sources. http://sun1.sms.port.ac.uk/cosmos/users/bruce/mousetrap/ PACS numbers: 04.30.-w, 03.67Dd, 95.55Ym, 03.65Bz ∗ email: [email protected] † email: [email protected] ‡ email: [email protected]

Gravitational waves are considered in thermal vacuum state. The amplitude and spectral energy density of gravitational waves are found enhanced in thermal vacuum state compared to its zero temperature counterpart. Therefore, the allowed amount of enhancement depends on the upper bound of WMAP-5 and WMAP-7 for the amplitude and spectral energy density of gravitational waves. The enhancement of ...
متن کاملLinear and Nonlinear Dust Acoustic Waves in Quantum Dusty Electron-Positron-Ion Plasma
The behavior of linear and nonlinear dust acoustic waves (DAWs) in an unmagnetized plasma including inertialess electrons and positrons, ions, and mobile positive/negative dust grains are studied. Reductive perturbation method is employed for small and finite amplitude DAWs. To investigate the solitary waves, the Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation is derived and the solution is presented. B...

متن کاملDetecting gravitational waves with a heralded - photon Quantum
— We propose the use of heralded photons to detect Gravitational Waves (GWs). Heralded photons are those photons that, produced during a para-metric downconversion process, are " labelled " by the detection and counting of coincidences of their correlated or entangled twins and therefore can be discriminated from the background noise, independently of the type of correlation/entanglement used i...
متن کاملA gravitational wave observatory operating beyond the quantum shot-noise limit
Around the globe several observatories are seeking the first direct detection of gravitational waves (GWs). These waves are predicted by Einstein’s general theory of relativity1 and are generated, for example, by black-hole binary systems2. Present GW detectors are Michelson-type kilometre-scale laser interferometers measuring the distance changes between mirrors suspended in vacuum. The sensit...
